This is a must for all Zombie film fans; with a “Shaun Of The Dead” vibe, it is quirky and different enough to make it entertaining.
The cast work brilliantly together; although we never feel they are in real peril, we enjoy the journey they are on together and want them to make it.
The director and writers jazz up this well worked formula by building in the “rules” to surviving a zombie world into the story; this is where a lot of the laughs are delivered.
Things do drag a little in the middle but builds to a fun finale.
I would be happy to visit Zombieland again if a sequel is ever made.
Recommended
(oh, and don’t miss the excellent Bill Murray cameo)
