Movie News >>> Whedon’s “Cabin” going 3D

Cabin In The Woods

Shocktilyoudrop has reported that “Cabin In The Woods”, originally due for release early next year, is now to be released in 2011.

The movie, directed by Drew “Cloverfield” Goddard and co-written by Joss Whedon, has had such good test screening reaction, that the studio (MGM) wants to delay the film so it can be rejigged for the 3D format.

Little is known of the film, except that the creators are promising a terrifying cinema experience in the vein of “The Evil Dead”.

Lets hope that the 3D element makes this the first successful horror in this format, and not another “The Final Destination” type failure.
